The wait is almost over. On Sunday 13 September 2026, ACR Messina begin their Eccellenza Sicilia campaign in Group B. The new season opens away to Augusta FC, with kick-off at 15:30 at Stadio Fontana in Augusta.

The trip to the Syracuse area officially opens a thirty-matchday campaign, as Messina take on the different sides in the eastern group of Sicily’s top regional league. The debut is the first step in a new season built around the relationship between the team, the city and a community ready to follow every stage of the journey.

The opening matchday always carries a special meaning. After the preparation period and the fixtures leading up to the tournament, from Sunday onward the pitch will set the course for ACR Messina in Group B.
